Informations sur le produit
- 4-(Diphenylphosphino)Benzoicacid
- 4-(Diphenylphosphanyl)Benzoic Acid
4-(Diphenylphosphino)benzoic acid (DPBA) is a bifunctional molecule that can act as both a catalyst and a reducing agent. It reacts with the hydroxyl group of 4-hydroxybenzophenone, which is oxidized to the corresponding carboxylate, and reduces the carboxylate to an alcohol. This reaction is catalyzed by DPBA, which also has surface properties and reacts with light to produce photocatalytic activity.
