Description

Dimethyl chloromalonate is a nucleophilic reagent that reacts with electrophilic sites in the cell. It has been used to treat skin cancer and bone cancer. In addition, it has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in vitro by inhibiting DNA synthesis and tumor blood vessel formation. Dimethyl chloromalonate may also be used as a chemotherapeutic agent for the treatment of other cancers, such as liver cancer, cervical cancer, and bowel disease.
