Description

3-Dimethylamino-1-propyne is a monomeric dye that can be used in the synthesis of polymers. It is used as a model system to study the transfer reactions from nucleophiles to electrophiles. 3-Dimethylamino-1-propyne has been used as a reactant in chemical reactions, such as the suzuki coupling reaction. 3-Dimethylamino-1-propyne has minimal toxicity and does not form any n-oxides or other toxic products during chemical reactions.
