Description :3-O-Dodecyl-sn-glycerol is an antimicrobial agent that belongs to the group of natural compounds. It is a monoglyceride with a 12 carbon chain and has been shown to be effective against many pathogens, including Staphylococcus aureus and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. 3-O-Dodecyl-sn-glycerol is also effective against fungi and protozoa, such as Plasmodium falciparum.
