Description

Dimoxystrobin is a fungicide that belongs to the strobilurin family. It is used as a soil and seed treatment to control diseases caused by various fungi, including powdery mildews, rusts, and blights. Dimoxystrobin has been shown to have synergistic effects with prothioconazole (a type of fungicide), chlorine atom (a disinfectant), and acetate extract (an organic solvent). The dimoxystrobin-chlorine atom combination was found to be more effective than either agent alone in controlling Fusarium sporotrichioides, a fungus that causes head blight in wheat. This product also has been shown to have low toxicity for plants and animals.
