Sprague-Dawley rats were dosed with 1,6-dimethoxyhexane at a concentration of 25 mg/kg body weight for 4 weeks. Sorafenib was administered as a positive control. Acid reactive substances and interaction energies were determined by the X-ray absorption spectroscopy method. The molecular structure of 1,6-dimethoxyhexane was determined by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra.
