Description

Dexketoprofen trometamol is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that belongs to the group of drugs known as NSAIDs. It is used for the relief of pain and inflammation, and to reduce fever. Dexketoprofen trometamol has been shown to have statistically significant cytotoxicity in vitro at high doses but not at low doses. Low-dose dexketoprofen trometamol has been shown to be effective in the treatment of postoperative pain and inflammation, with fewer side effects than other NSAIDs. Dexketoprofen trometamol also has a matrix effect on blood sampling, which may affect its pharmacological activities.
