Description

(1R,3R)-3-(2,2-Dibromoethenyl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylic acid (S)-cyano(3-phenoxyphenyl)methyl ester is a synthetic insecticide that has been shown to inhibit the activity of the enzyme dpp-iv. This compound also inhibits the activities of various enzymes such as aminopeptidase and carboxypeptidase that are involved in protein degradation and energy metabolism. In vitro assays have shown no toxicity to mammalian cells at concentrations up to 500 µM.
