Description :
Demeton-S sulfoxide is a pesticide that belongs to the class of sulfoxides. It is a cholinesterase inhibitor and acts as an insecticide. Demeton-S sulfoxide inhibits enzymatic methods for the determination of pesticide residues by preventing the breakdown of pesticides in the sample, which can result in high levels of residue. The enzyme inhibitors also inhibit the formation of pesticide residues in food products.
