Description

Deacetyl bisacodyl is a drug that can be used to treat constipation. It is an osmotic laxative that works by drawing water into the intestine and increasing fluid volume in the bowel, thereby softening the stool. The uptake of deacetyl bisacodyl by human feces has been studied using a lagrangian approach. It has been shown that this drug is taken up by particles and not dissolved in water or absorbed through the intestinal wall. Deacetyl bisacodyl was found to have no effect on hydrogen bonds and it does not bind to any other molecules.
