Informations sur le produit
- 4,6-Dichloro-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine
- 4,6-Dichloropyrazolo[3,4-d] Pyrimidine
- 6-chloro-N4-methylpyrimidine-2,4,5-triamine
4,6-Dichloropyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine is a synthetic nucleoside analog. It inhibits DNA synthesis by inhibiting the enzyme adenosine deaminase, which converts adenosine to inosine. This drug may also inhibit RNA synthesis and protein synthesis, although this has not been confirmed. The postulated mechanism of action for 4,6-Dichloropyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine is that it can be phosphorylated to form a pyrimidine nucleotide analog and therefore competes with natural nucleosides for incorporation into the growing DNA strand. This leads to arrest of the cell cycle at the G2/M checkpoint.
