n-Dipropylamine is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of amines. It has inhibitory properties against prostate cancer cells and fatty acid, hydroxyl group, amines and trifluoroacetic acid. n-Dipropylamine can be used for the prevention of prostate cancer by inhibiting the production of fatty acids, which are necessary for lipid synthesis in cells. This drug may also help reduce the spread of prostate cancer cells by preventing their growth and division. In addition, n-dipropylamine is able to inhibit the enzyme fatty acid synthase that catalyzes the production of these lipids in cells.
