9,10-Dihydrolysergic acid is an amide compound that is a product of the synthesis pathway of lysergic acid. It has a molecular weight of 308.88 g/mol and an amine group with a methylene side chain. The chemical formula for 9,10-dihydrolysergic acid is C6H8N2O3. 9,10-Dihydrolysergic acid has been shown to lower blood pressure in rats by inhibiting the 5-HT2 receptors in the brain and increasing diastolic blood pressure in humans.
