Description

N'-(2,4-Dimethylphenyl)-N-methylformamide is a synthetic compound with toxicity profiles and toxicities. It belongs to the class of spirodiclofen, which is used as an insecticide. Its analytical method is based on gas chromatography with mass spectrometry (GC/MS) and low detection limits. The toxicity and chemical stability are both high for N'-(2,4-Dimethylphenyl)-N-methylformamide. This compound has been shown to have synergistic function when combined with amitraz. N'-(2,4-Dimethylphenyl)-N-methylformamide can be used in research to identify the presence of chloride ions in soil samples, as well as organic acids such as acetic acid or formic acid. It can also be used to measure metal hydroxides such as aluminum hydroxide or iron hydroxide.
