Description

2-[4-(Dibutylamino)-2-hydroxybenzoyl]benzoic acid is a hydrocarbon solvent that has been shown to have magnetic resonance enhancement properties. It absorbs radiation at wavelengths of 250 nm and higher, showing ancillary fluorescence in the ultraviolet region. This compound has been shown to be an estrogen receptor ligand and is fluorescent when exposed to light. 2-[4-(Dibutylamino)-2-hydroxybenzoyl]benzoic acid has also been shown to bind with europium ions, which are used in luminescent materials.
