Description :
N,N-Dimethoxy carbonyl ethyl aniline is a high-yielding amine that can be used in the synthesis of β-amino acids. The compound is also used as a solid catalyst to promote hydroamination reactions. N,N-Dimethoxy carbonyl ethyl aniline is activated by heat and reacts with unsaturated aliphatic compounds to form cyclic amines. Zeolites are the most common catalysts used in this reaction. The parameters for this process include temperature and pressure. This compound has a solid state and is not soluble in water.
