Description

Cis-2,6-Dimethylmorpholine is a drug that binds to the beta-adrenergic receptor and causes an increase in blood pressure. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on cardiac cells, and has been tested for its ability to prevent cancer. Cis-2,6-Dimethylmorpholine also has a potentiating effect on the action of cyclohexane ring drugs such as caffeine, which may be due to its ability to cause increased blood flow through the coronary artery. This drug is used in pharmaceutical preparations that are designed to lower blood pressure or reduce cholesterol levels.
