Informations sur le produit
- O-(Diphenylphosphinyl)hydroxylamine
- (Aminooxy)diphenylphosphineoxide
O-Diphenylphosphinylhydroxylamine is a chemical compound that is used in the synthesis of other compounds. It was originally synthesized in 1891 by the German chemist Arthur Rudolf Wieland as an intermediate for the production of chlorophenyldichloroarsine, but it has been found to have many applications. O-Diphenylphosphinylhydroxylamine is typically formed by reacting phosphorus pentoxide with primary amines. It can be prepared from sodium salts or chloride with organometallic reagents such as magnesium and zinc. The addition of anions such as bromide or iodide also produces this compound. Protein synthesis is inhibited by O-diphenylphosphinylhydroxylamine because it reacts with free amino groups on proteins, forming covalent bonds that inhibit protein metabolism and cell division. This process also causes a decrease in protein synthesis, which leads to cell death due to lack of energy production.
