Description

(1,2-Dibromoethyl)benzene is an organic compound that belongs to the group of cationic surfactants. It can be used as a particle in analytical methods and has been shown to react with hydroxyl groups on the surface of silica gel. (1,2-Dibromoethyl)benzene has also been used in a reaction with chlorides, nitrates, and inorganic acids to form hydrochloric acid.
