Description :N-3,5-Dimethyladamantan-1-yl formamide is a hydrocarbon that is synthesized by the amination of 3,5-dimethyladamantane with formic acid in the presence of hydrochloric acid. It is used as a solvent for various chemical reactions and has been shown to be an effective catalyst for the reduction of nitrobenzene to aniline.
