• Description: 3,5-Dihydroxybenzamide is an amide derivative that has anticancer activity. This compound inhibits the growth of C. glabrata by inhibiting protein synthesis in the mitochondria and DNA replication in the nucleus. 3,5-Dihydroxybenzamide also inhibits the growth of cancer cells by binding to a molecule that is involved in cancer cell proliferation.
