Description :
4-Decyloxybenzaldehyde is a synthetic, acidic compound that can be used as an imine. It has been shown to form monolayers and supramolecular structures with micelles in organic solvents. 4-Decyloxybenzaldehyde also forms intramolecular hydrogen bonds with styrene, which can be used to create surfactants for nanoemulsions and perfluorinated materials. This chemical is responsive and can be used as a mesoporous material.
