Description

4-(N,N-Diphenylamino)benzaldehyde is an aliphatic hydrocarbon with a neutral pH. It has optical properties that are studied using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. 4-(N,N-Diphenylamino)benzaldehyde has been shown to have a transfer mechanism in the form of hydrogen bond with its reactant methylene. The chemical stability of this compound is investigated by gel chromatography and FT-IR spectroscopy. The structural analysis of 4-(N,N-Diphenylamino)benzaldehyde is done by using different methods such as reaction solution, electrochemical methods and FT-IR spectroscopy. This compound is stable in acidic solutions but unstable in basic solutions and it emits fluorescence when irradiated with UV light.
