cis-1,2-Dicyano-1,2-bis(2,4,5-trimethyl-3-thienyl)ethene is an organic compound that has two isomers. The isomerization of cis-[1,2-dicyano-(2,4,5-trimethylphenyl)ethene] to trans-[1,2-dicyano-(2,4,5-trimethylphenyl)ethene] can be observed by the reaction time in a metamorphic experiment. Cis-[1,2-dicyano-(2,4,5-trimethylphenyl)ethene] fluoresces greenish yellow and has a bright emission spectrum at 514 nm.
