Description :
D 131 is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the CD4 receptor and prevents HIV-1 from binding. It has been shown to be effective in blocking HIV-1 infection by preventing the virus from attaching to CD4 T cells. D 131 has also been shown to have an affinity for other receptors, such as CD8, and may have potential in treating cancer and inflammatory diseases.
