Description :
Dithranol impurity C is a reactive, hydroxylated compound that is found in dithranol. It has been shown to have clinical efficacy in the treatment of skin disorders and to reduce mitochondrial dysfunction. Dithranol impurity C has also been shown to react with potassium dichromate and adenine nucleotide in vitro, leading some researchers to believe that this may be the mechanism by which it achieves its desired effects.
