It has been shown to inhibit the uptake of primary alcohol in ovary cells and to be an effective ligand for the hydrogen bond. In addition, 1,3-DBF has been shown to function as a potent agonist at the metabotropic receptor. This compound was used in molecular modeling and showed that it could bind to the rhesus receptor with high affinity.
