• Description: Diphenylglycolic acid hydrazide is a novel antimicrobial agent that has been shown to have potent activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It inhibits the synthesis of mycobacterial cell wall components, including phospholipids and glycolipids, by inhibiting the enzymes involved in the synthesis of these compounds. Diphenylglycolic acid hydrazide also has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used as an antituberculosis drug.
