Description

Dehydroeburicoic acid is a natural compound that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. It also inhibits the production of alcohols by horse liver, which may be useful in reducing the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. Dehydroeburicoic acid is a white crystalline powder that has a chemical structure similar to lanostane, which is an inhibitor of phellinus. This compound was isolated from antrodia camphorata, a medicinal mushroom used in traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of skin conditions and as an antibacterial agent. Dehydroeburicoic acid is also found in other natural products including medicines and healthcare products.
