Description :
3,5-Dimethylisoxazole-4-boronic acid is a boronate ester that can be used to synthesize biomolecules. It is an efficient method for the synthesis of amines by cross-coupling reactions. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. The red shift observed when 3,5-dimethylisoxazole-4-boronic acid reacts with carbonyl compounds may result from electron delocalization around the boron atom.
