Description

1,2-Cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid diglycidyl ester is a cationic polymerization agent that reacts with epoxy resins to form crosslinked polymers. It is used as a high-temperature resistant coating for substrates such as metal and plastics. This product has been shown to be resistant to water vapor and the formation of hydroperoxides and peroxides, which can lead to degradation of the coating. 1,2-Cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid diglycidyl ester also undergoes a thermal expansion in order to prevent cracking or crazing on substrates during heating cycles. 1,2-Cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid diglycidyl ester contains reactive functional groups that allow it to react with other molecules or particles by means of chemical reactions.
