Description :
2,5-Difluorobenzenesulphonamide is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of sulfonamides. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on mitotic checkpoint signaling in human cells, and can be used for the treatment of obesity. The compound's inhibitory effects on the mitotic checkpoint signal have been observed in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and are likely due to its ability to induce cell cycle arrest from G2/M phase. 2,5-Difluorobenzenesulphonamide has also been shown to inhibit growth factor receptor signaling by interacting with Jak2 V617F, which is associated with cancer progression.
