Informations sur le produit
- Methanesulfonyl Fluoride, 1,1-Difluoro-
Difluoromethanesulfonyl fluoride is a hydrogen fluoride (HF) analog. It reacts with nucleophiles at the C-F bond. The reaction rate is slower than that of HF and the reaction yield is lower. Difluoromethanesulfonyl fluoride has a high concentration in organic solvents, which can be used to measure the concentration of other fluorine-containing substances such as trifluoromethanesulfonic acid. This compound has been shown to react with chloride ions or polyatomic molecules, such as fluorine, hydrogen chloride, and phosphorus pentachloride.
Difluoromethanesulfonyl fluoride can also react with nucleophiles at the C-F bond and form a fluorosulfonic acid intermediate, which then reacts with water to form hydrogen fluoride and sulfuric acid.
