Description :
4,5-Difluoro-2-nitrophenylboronic acid is a chemical compound that can be used in site-specific modification of peptides. It reacts with cysteine residues to form arylboronic esters and arylboronate amides. These reactions are more selective than the corresponding reactions with other amino acids due to the electron withdrawing properties of the nitro group.
