Description

2,2-Difluoroethylamine is a compound that contains fluorine. It is an organic solvent that is used for the production of enamels and lacquers. 2,2-Difluoroethylamine has been shown to react with sodium carbonate in a process optimization study. This reaction may be due to nucleophilic attack by the amine on the carbonyl carbon atom of the ester bond in sodium carbonate.
