N-(2,5-Dimethoxybenzyl)-N-(5-fluoro-2-phenoxyphenyl)acetamide (DOBFAPA) is a synthetic amine that acts as a potentiator of the effects of benzodiazepines. It is thought to interact with the benzodiazepine receptor and increase the affinity of diazepam for this receptor. The neuropharmacological profile of DOBFAPA includes potentiation of locomotor activity and suppression of spontaneous activity in mice, which may be due to its ability to bind to the benzodiazepine receptor.
