Glycerophospholipids are a class of lipids that contain glycerol and phosphoric acid esters. 1,2-Dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphate monosodium salt is a lipid found in many organisms. It is known to have fluidity properties and can be enzymatically inactivated by chlorides.
