Description :
3-Amino-3-(4-cyanophenyl)propanoic acid is a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor. It inhibits the activity of the enzyme aromatase, which catalyzes the conversion of androgens to estrogens. 3-Amino-3-(4-cyanophenyl)propanoic acid is used in human clinical trials as a potential treatment for breast cancer and other estrogen receptor positive tumors. In vitro studies have shown that 3-amino-3-(4-cyanophenyl)propanoic acid has an inhibitory effect on lipases and cytochrome P450 enzymes.
