Description :
4-Ethylpiperidine hydrochloride is a chromatographic stationary phase possessing amide, hydrochloric acid and monolayer functionalities. It is used in the chromatographic separation of organic compounds. 4-Ethylpiperidine hydrochloride has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on clotting, as well as hydroxyl group and potent inhibition for piperidine, amines, and naphthalene. 4-Ethylpiperidine hydrochloride is also a bioisostere of piperidine and can be used in the synthesis of polymers such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or polyamides.
