Description :
2-Ethyl-4-pentenal is a liquid ester that can be used in the production of other organic compounds. It is produced from dibutyl and hexanal, which are volatile compounds. The reaction time for this chemical is between 24 and 48 hours at high temperature (between 30 to 50 degrees Celsius). 2-Ethyl-4-pentenal can be made with a solid catalyst or with an acid catalyst. The yield of this chemical is high, at greater than 90%.
