Description :
5-Ethoxypyridin-2-amine is a substance that has been synthesized by the reaction of 2-amino-5-bromopyridine with ethyl acetate and copper. 5-Ethoxypyridin-2-amine can be used as a catalyst or reagent in organic synthesis, such as the nitration of amines. It also reacts with nitric acid to form an explosive compound called 5-(nitrooxy)pyridine.
