Description

Ethyl 2-(3-formyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-4-methylthiazole-5-carboxylate is a fluorescent probe that has been used for the detection of oxidative stress. It reacts with glutathione, which is an antioxidant. The formation of this product leads to the release of a proton and emission of fluorescence.
