Description

Ethyl2-(3-formyl-4-isobutoxyphenyl)-4-methylthiazole-5-carboxylate is an anticancer drug that has been shown to have a cytotoxic effect on cancer cells. It may act by interfering with the synthesis of DNA and RNA, which are necessary for cell division. Ethyl2-(3-formyl-4-isobutoxyphenyl)-4-methylthiazole-5-carboxylate has been used in the synthesis of adriamycin, an anticancer drug, and has also been shown to have an anticancer activity against human breast cancer cells. This compound can be synthesized using a number of methods and is reusable.
