Description :
3-Ethoxyphenylboronic acid is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of organoboron compounds. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. 3-Ethoxyphenylboronic acid was synthesized through Suzuki cross-coupling reactions, which allowed for the introduction of aryl groups onto organic molecules with high yields. The compound has also been used as a colorimetric probe for boron ions in water. This chemical is currently being tested in clinical trials as an anti-cancer agent.
