Description :Erucifoline is a retrorsine derivative that has been shown to have dose-dependent effects on the activity of protein synthesis in animals. The chemical diversity of erucifoline and related compounds is due to the n-oxide moiety, which varies in position and number. This diversity allows for the development of new drugs with novel chemical structures that are active against bacteria.
