Ethylhydrazine hydrochloride is a reactive amide with nitrogen atoms. It is an intermediate in the synthesis of ethylene diamine and b-raf, which are used in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. Ethylhydrazine hydrochloride has been shown to cause damage to cells and inhibit enzyme activity in vitro. The drug is also known to be toxic to the trigeminal nerve, as it contains pyridoxine hydrochloride, a purine derivative that can cause high resistance when taken orally.
