Description :
Ethanesulfonamide is a drug that has been used to treat inflammatory diseases. It binds to the C-type natriuretic peptide receptor (CNP/NPR1) on the cell membrane, which leads to an increase in cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) levels. This results in vasodilation and improved blood flow. In addition, it inhibits endothelin-A receptors and cancer cells, and is hydrolyzed by hydrochloric acid.
