Description :
Ethylicin is a natural product originally isolated from the fruit of an Australian tree. It has shown synergistic interactions with sodium sulfide and control agents in various analytical methods, such as preparative HPLC. Ethylcin has also been shown to inhibit the growth of a wide variety of plant tissue cultures, including those infected with chemical pesticides. Ethylcin has been used as a model system for studying the effects of phytochemicals on plants.
