Description :
Ethyl 1,3-benzothiazole-2-carboxylate is a diagnostic agent that is used in vivo as a model for the study of drug target. It has been shown to be effective against tuberculosis and amines. The molecule has two stereoisomers, which have different properties and reactivity. One of them (S) is neutral at pH 7, while the other (R) is acidic. The molecular weight of this compound is not known but it has been shown to be an effective control agent against pests such as ants.
