Description

Nalpha,Nepsilon-Di-Boc-L-lysine is a synthetic peptide that has been shown to be reactive with neutrophils and is being developed for the treatment of heart disease. This peptide has been shown to have an antioxidant effect in rat neutrophils by preventing oxidative injury to DNA and protein. Nalpha,Nepsilon-Di-Boc-L-lysine also has an anticancer effect on liver cancer cells, which may be due to its ability to induce antibody responses and inhibit cell proliferation. It has also been shown that this peptide does not cause any adverse effects in rats when administered at high doses.
